about dr. jeff newmanHere to help you feel, look, and be your best
Raised in Salisbury, Dr. Jeff loves serving the community he grew up in, and is proud to call the Greater Newburyport area his home.
After graduating from Triton, Jeff started college in the nursing program at Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. He soon realized that being a nurse involved treating injuries after they’d happened, and the current research at the time was supporting the mindset that many of these injuries & health conditions could be prevented in the first place. He finished his major in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and chose to attend the first chiropractic school in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic — established in 1897.
Dr. Jeff has been a go-to provider in the area for over 10 years. He has rounded himself out as a board-certified Chiropractic Physician by becoming certified in Graston Technique®, Activator Methods®, Cox Flexion-Distraction Protocol, Radiology, and Level 1 Precision Nutrition Certification.
He and his wife each have two boys and enjoy spending time as a blended family. He has treated his children since the day they were born and continues with routine evaluation & mobility work when necessary. While he enjoys staying active by working out at the gym or running when time permits, he is happiest when he’s with his family.
our approachFrom Pain Relief to Long-Term Strength — in 3 simple phases of treatment
Prime & Prep
Care is more frequent at first to reduce pain and restore movement through targeted adjustments. During this phase, advanced therapies and supportive strategies may be used to accelerate progress and help your body respond effectively.
Stabilize & Protect
As your symptoms improve, we focus on strengthening the structural foundation. Targeted adjustments remain central, exercises are introduced, and advanced therapies begin tapering as your body becomes more stable.
Strengthen & Return
In this final phase, advanced therapies are tapered and exercises become more progressive — including anti-rotation and stability work designed to protect your spine during real-life activity.
