about dr. jeff newman

Dr. Jeff Newman sits at Merrimac River in Salisbury, Newburyport, Amesbury, Seabrook Chiropractor

Here to help you feel, look, and be your best

Raised in Salisbury, Dr. Jeff loves serving the community he grew up in, and is proud to call the Greater Newburyport area his home.

After graduating from Triton, Jeff started college in the nursing program at Salve Regina University in Rhode Island.  He soon realized that being a nurse involved treating injuries after they’d happened, and the current research at the time was supporting the mindset that many of these injuries & health conditions could be prevented in the first place.  He finished his major in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and chose to attend the first chiropractic school in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic — established in 1897.

Dr. Jeff has been a go-to provider in the area for over 10 years.  He has rounded himself out as a board-certified Chiropractic Physician by becoming certified in Graston Technique®, Activator Methods®, Cox Flexion-Distraction Protocol, Radiology, and Level 1 Precision Nutrition Certification.

He and his wife each have two boys and enjoy spending time as a blended family.  He has treated his children since the day they were born and continues with routine evaluation & mobility work when necessary. While he enjoys staying active by working out at the gym or running when time permits, he is happiest when he’s with his family.

our approach

We help you reach and sustain your highest well-being in 3 simple phases of treatment

Chiropractor Pain Relief

Intensive Care

In this phase, the goal is to quickly reduce pain and restore normal movement. You’ll have more frequent sessions, along with stretches, light exercises, and supplement recommendations to support pain relief. We’ll also provide at-home guidance to help manage inflammation as you begin your recovery. Caring for your spine at this stage is crucial because the health of your spine directly impacts the central nervous system, which controls every function in your body.

Chiropractor Recovery Care

Corrective Care

After a progress exam confirms your pain is reduced, we focus on correcting the root cause of your symptoms. Though sessions are less frequent, they remain just as important. We’ll update your exercise program, adjust supplementation as needed, and provide ergonomic guidance to ensure long-term recovery and improvement. Keeping your spine healthy during this phase protects the nervous system and supports your overall function.

Chiropractor Wellness Care

Wellness Care

We focus on optimizing nervous system function, coordination, and stability to keep your body performing at its best. Regular check-ins get you adjusted, help monitor habits, and prevent relapses, supporting you in living your best life. Though sessions are less frequent, they are essential for maintaining long-term health and wellness. By caring for your spine, we protect the integrity of your nervous system, which allows your body to perform at its highest potential.
